The Proposal of Project Expressway traverses through two districts viz. Bharuch and Vadodara in Gujarat State. The project expressway starts near Manubar at km 292+000 and passes through major villages Kanthariya, Tham, Vahalu, Mahudhala, Derol, Tralsi, Dayadra, Tralsa, Pariej, Kelod, Pipalia, Karela, Samani, Keshlu, Padariya, Kurchan, Kothi Vantarsha, Amarpor Alias Simartha, Ghamnad, Dora, Malkinpura Alias Timbi, Danda, Telod, Suthodra, Matar, Mangrol and It ends at sanpa at km 323.000.
The total length of the project is 31.000 Kms. The Scope of the Project Construction of Eight Lane Vadodara Kim Expressway from Km 292+000 to Km 323+000 (Manubar to Sanpa Section of Vadodara Mumbai Expressway) with development of new Greenfield alignment. The expressway comprises of Rigid pavement for Main Carriageway and Flexible pavement for the Connecting road. The Project road under Phase lA-Package III starts at Km 292+000 near Manubar of Bharuch Taluka. The Expressway alignment runs almost parallel to existing NH 8 on west side. This Section starts from Oahej - Bharuch Road crossing in Bharuch district & passes in Bharuch district in plain terrain.In this Section the alignment crosses over Jambusar - Bharuch Read (Km 293+050) which has recently been upgraded to a National Highway NH 228. at this location (Krn 293+050), Jambusar - Bharuch Section of Western Railway, which is being upgraded to broad gauge from current narrow gauge, is also crossing the alignment. River Bhukha at Km 302+732 & River Rupa Khadi at Km 321 +280 are the major river crossings in this section.
