"Construction of Eight Lane Vadodara Kim Expressway from Km 323.00 to Km 355.00 - Sanpa to Padra Section of Vadodara Mumbai Expressway in the State of Gujarat under NHDP Phase - VI on EPC mode." (The Project).

National Highways Development Project (NHDP) Phase-VI is for development of 1000 km of expressways and includes construction of about 379 km long Vadodara-Mumbai Expressway proposed to be implemented under Public Private Partnership mode and to be executed as Design, Build, Finance and Operate (DBFO) contracts. The proposed Main Expressway passes through the states of Maharashtra, Union territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Gujarat. The total length of the proposed expressway is about 379 km and runs generally parallel to the existing NH-8.

The Project Expressway Package II of the Expressway traverses through Vadodara districts viz. starts from Sanpa near Karjan Km 323+000 and ends at Padra Km 355.00 in the state of Gujarat.

Proposal for Improved Connectivity.

The Proposal of Project Expressway traverses through two districts viz. Karjan and Vadodara in Gujarat State. The project expressway starts near Sanpa at km 323+000 and passes through major villages Bodaka, Kanabha, Handod, Sambhoi, Survada, Sadad , Husepur, Amla, Sarsavani, Goriyad , Ghayaj, Darapur, Patod, Sokhada, Samiyala It ends at Gokalpura village near Vadodara at km 355.000.

The total length of the project is 32.000 Kms. The Scope of the Project Construction of Eight Lane Vadodara Kim Expressway from Km 323+000 to Km 355+000 (Sanpa to Padra Section of Vadodara Mumbai Expressway) with development of new Greenfield alignment. The expressway comprises of Rigid pavement for Main Carriageway and Flexible pavement for the Connecting road. The Project road under Phase lA-Package II starts at Km 323+000 near Sanpa of Karjan Taluka. The Expressway alignment runs almost parallel to existing NH 8 on west side.
